It is with great sadness that the club announce the passing of John Bentley on Monday 30 March 2026. 

John had been a member of the club for many years and supported the club on match days and always enjoyed the match day lunches. 

John was also a member of Surbiton Hockey Club and Esher Cricket Club and Thames Sailing Club.

Our condolences go to his Brother Ben and family.

For those wishing to pay their respects. John's Service of Thanksgiving will take place at midday on Friday 1st May at:

Christ Church, Church Street, Esher, KT10 8QS

The wake will follow from approximately 1:30pm at St George's Hill Golf Club.

Members are respectfully requested to wear Club ties.
