The Quins Cup started in earnest for our intrepid U16s squads on Sunday.

Esher Bs had a very close, physical Home game against the Effingham & Leatherhead Eagles, holding their nerve for a hard fought 21-19 win. Tries from Ben Webb, Josh Cilliers and Freddie Nesham proved crucial with the captain Brendan Przybojewski converting them all. The Eagles made a heroic fight back, but a crucial charge down from Freddie Nesham proved too much for the converting Eagles player and the nail-biting final minutes of the game proved the strength and excellent tactics of the Esher Bs to seal the win.

Esher As lost 22-14 to Hove Away in a closely fought contest that could have gone either way. Strong winds and rain in the second half. Esher forwards fought hard but couldn’t get through the Hove defence. Tries from Kobey Mack and Gabriel Savva with conversions from Oscar Smith.
