Esher Bishops (Walking Rugby) attended the Old Guildfordian friendly on Saturday 27th January playing against 2 Old Guildfordian teams and then against the Scarlett Warriors – a relatively new squad made up of Chelsea Pensioners and the Army Women's 15 a side team!
Great sportsmanship, loud banter and post play beers made for a great event – thank you Old Guildfordians for hosting and we look forward to seeing more of the Scarlett Warriors on the Walking Rugby circuit over the next few months.
Esher Bishops meet twice a week (Monday 6.30pm and Friday 10am) for training sessions and attend many festivals and tournaments during the summer months.
Aimed at over 50 year olds but open to anyone who fancies having a go – whether you've played rugby before or not!
