U14s Statement:

The U14s continue to develop as individual players and as a team of committed young sportsmen, underpinned by a RFU qualified coaching set up, an inclusive parent group and Esher Rugby Club where it's always about the boys.

The previous season the team won the Surrey Waterfall Cup 3rd round play offs. 2018/19 season the boys went one better reaching the Cup Final, where the boys came up slightly short against strong opponents. The standout achievement was the manner the boys conducted themselves throughout a highly competitive competition.

Into the new season we will continue to field two squads guaranteeing plenty of match time for all players, and importantly a path to development, whatever a player’s experience, ability and confidence. The principle is to provide competitive rugby in a friendly and safe environment, that enables the boys to develop as players and young men.

The U14s squad continues to grow in numbers and the players will play shoulder-2-shoulder in the full spirit of the game of rugby. An unrivalled achievement. Players, parents and coaches look forward to another smashing season of competitive, enjoyable rugby.

EsherRFC welcome new players, come along to experience a great Sports and Social club in action.
