U17/Colts Statement:

This coming season promises to be one of the most exciting times for our age group since we have been in Junior Rugby. We will be competing as a colts team which is a mix of U17 & U18 players.

We have a really strong group of players, some whom have been with the club for many seasons and some we have just recently welcomed to our age group.

We will be competing in the Surrey Waterfall Cup and the Quin’s cup throughout the season and working and competing hard in all our other friendly fixtures, which will hopefully build up to a successful end of season tour. We are planning a “social” calendar for the season to help raise funds which promises to be really enjoyable.

We have a high quality coaching team in our age group with our 2 Lead Coaches also coaching the Surrey County U20 team as well as being involved with coaching at the Harlequins Player Development Programme. This can guarantee the standard of coaching and player development will be of the highest standard. We aim to create an environment where our boys can enjoy growing into great young adults while enjoying a really wonderful sport. The team spirit and camaraderie within our group of boys is a joy to see and we aim to make it even better this year.

New players are always welcome at Esher. We would love to welcome you to our age group.
