Flapper (Far Right) on Tour in Madrid with The Expendables
Flapper passed away on Saturday 15th August after a tenacious battle with pancreatic cancer. Flapper was at home with his loving wife Bernice and adored sons Zak and Jacob. Flapper was a huge part of Esher Rugby and more recently Chobham where he also very successfully coached Mixed Ability Rugby. He was a presence both on and off the pitch and you knew he was always up to something! You could always find Flapper surrounded by his friends and family making witty jokes and cheeky one-liners that would make anyone having a down day smile from ear to ear....you just had to make sure the fire extinguishers were locked away! Please say your prayers for Flapper's family and friends through this traumatic time as they struggle to live without him. The Funeral is set for Friday 11th September 11.00 a.m. and the plan, due to social distancing requirements, is for this to be streamed to both Esher Rugby and Chobham Rugby clubhouses. More detail to follow on this page.
