Ricky Nebbett's revamped squad for 2018/19 continues to grow, building on the re-signings announced.
Owen Waters was Loughborough Students' first-choice fly half for two seasons, playing 44 matches for them and scoring 321 points in those matches as their main goal-kicker, achieving a 74% success rate. Owen started his rugby at Kingswood School and played for Bath A XV from school and University. He brings a high level of skill in his position and will be a expecting to continue his strong National League performances with Esher. Alex Post joins Esher from Old Albanian where he played last season, having been at Richmond in the previous season. He played 26 matches for Old Albanian, starting 16 of them. In 16/17 he played 5 times for Richmond as well as 2 matches on loan at Old Elthamians. Before joining Richmond Alex had also played for Hong Kong Under 20 and at UCL for University rugby. He brings a powerful presence to the front row and will be looking for a more successful season than he had last year.
South African, Devin Montgomery (second row) and Jack Walsh (scrum half), both will wear the Black and Amber, swopping from the red/black of Blackheath. Jack will be a key signing with the loss of Andy Garner who is retiring. The ex-Blackheath scrum half has played 152 games for the South East London rival. Back-row forward, Rob Dudley-Jones has signed from Welsh Club, Aberavon, Rob has also represented the Ospreys and Wales Under 20's.
Two other signings who did play in Esher colours last season....Basil Strang signs from from London Scottish, and Sam Bullock (scum-half) officially signs, having played some fixtures last season for the Esher Cardinals.
