During the period since lockdown we have had a fabulous group of volunteers at the club. They have been painting, maintaining and repairing equipment, improving lighting, cutting down trees and foliage around the ground and much more. A big shout out to Bryan Dees and Allan Olsen who have devoted a huge amount of their time as well as ever the present John Caldwell. We have also had very welcome contributions from Stuart Wilkinson, John Byde, Jez Best, Andrew Maber-Jones, Tom Maber-Jones and Michael Line. All this has been coordinated by Tim Bale and the club is looking as good as ever.

The work isn't stopping now and we need a big clear up round the ground to create more pitch space and improve pitch drainage. We have earmarked the Natwest Rugby Force weekend where clubs all round the country will be doing their annual clear-ups.

Please come down with your friends and have fun helping out before we open the CafeBar for a free Burger/Veggie Burger and a drink. The 6th will also be Registration day for the Minis and Juniors and so hopefully we will get a good turnout to get the grounds ready.

Please bring strimmers, chainsaws, wheelbarrows and other tools as well as gloves and sunscreen (if it is hot!)

If you intend coming down please register by e-mailing This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. so we can get an idea of numbers and report to Tim Bale at the cub on the day
