Friday (27th December) the Esher

Walking Rugby Group invited family and friends to join them to help walk off the excesses of Christmas week. Eight regulars welcomed five guests to a relaxed and fun session, and after some passing / catching practice and a warm-up, everyone enjoyed six 10-minute playing sessions. Not only were calories shed by the physical activity but the banter and laughter helped as well. A group of supporters accumulated steadily during the session and afterwards everyone enjoyed a coffee in the main bar area.

“Normal” walking rugby sessions resume in the New Year on Friday mornings from 10.00 till 12.00 and any new playing member over the age of 50 turning up then at the Club house will be made most welcome.
