Esher continue their winning ways
Tom Cheeseman was the star of the show as Esher continued their strong start to pre-season with a confident win over Cardiff in difficult conditions at Molesey Road. With the National League One season fast approaching it was essential that the EEE’s put in a good performance ahead of the all important first game against Richmond on 7th September. 3 tries scored in total including one sensational try from new boy Jay Udo-Udoma 10 minutes from time sealed an impressive win in which Esher showed wonderful skills with ball in hand. Other tries were scored by flanker Peter Synott who scored off the base of a powerful scrum and Jack Cooke who touched down from a beautifully weighted chip from Tom Cheeseman. Full back Luke Daniels converted all 3 tries and added a penalty in the 1st half. Cardiff scored their only try through Jonathan Edwards that was converted by fly half Ceiron Thomas who also added a penalty.
