London Scottish produced a devastating and clinical show of attacking rugby to sweep aside Esher at the Athletic Ground. The Greene King Championship side scored 13 tries on their way to an 81-12 triumph.
The backs ran the show with centre Andy Reay having a hand in many of the tries as well as scoring two of his own. Scottish scored some scintillating tries with Jim Thompson, Lee Millar, Ben Russell, Miles Mantella and Jordi Pasqualin all getting on the score sheet.
Esher did not go down without a fight and deservedly scored two tries of their own through full-back Luke Daniels and replacement scrum-half Robbie Shaw. Daniels dotting down under the posts after being brilliantly set-up by wing Paul Olima and Shaw sniping from close range.
However the EEE’s could not cope with the pace of the London Scottish backs which proved to be too strong.
Esher open their National One campaign next weekend at the Athletic Ground as they take on near rivals Richmond. Kick-off: 3pm
