Today, Wednesday 23rd April, the Barbarians take on Clontarf Rugby Club in Ireland. It is an exciting occasion and one which is eagerly looked forward to by hundreds of rugby fans around the country.
The match tonight is being dubbed as the 'The Real Battle of Clontarf,' and has been organised in line with celebrations which have been held over the weekend, marking the millennium anniversary of the historic - Battle of Clontarf.
The match, which will no doubt be a bruising encounter is of huge significance as well for Esher, as both Tom Cheeseman and Peter Synnott will be representing the Baa-Baas.
As usual the players will don the traditional black and white hooped Barbarians strip however, the socks of each player are unique, as they wear the socks of their club team.
There will be an exception today as Peter Synnott will not be wearing his Esher socks. Instead he will be sporting his old green and white club socks from O'Tooles Gaelic Athletic Association Club, which can be attributed for his sporting upbringing and who he represented for many years when he was younger.
Everyone here at Esher Rugby Club want to wish both Peter Synnot and Tom Cheeseman the best of luck in tonights game when they lineup for the Baa-Baas at Castle Avenue.
