England Women U20 take on France at Esher RFC

With no National One League match this weekend there is an opportunity to see the best and brightest young players in women’s rugby as England Women's Under 20 take on their French counterparts. No cost!!

France won the first fixture 27-0 earlier this month so England will be looking for revenge at what has been a regular venue for Women’s Internationals over the years. With a squad drawn largely from Worcester and Lichfield, head coach Amanda Bennett said “We certainly hope we can close the gap on France this time around. One of the biggest lessons learned was the cost of individual errors and how few opportunities teams get at this level. Changes in one or two key areas can make a big difference on the day.”

She makes 4 changes to her team, including the introduction to the front row of Scarlett Cooper-Wall, whose cousin Ollie Cooper-Millar was a first team player at Esher in the recent past.

Kick- off is at 1400 and following the final whistle supporters will be able to watch the England Men’s team take on Ireland live on two big screens.
